Brigitte is the Clinical Programme Director of Positive Families Partnership and also provides clinical oversight to Stronger Families in Norfolk and Suffolk. Brigitte is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and a qualified family therapist.

 

For the past 20 years Brigitte has driven the commissioning & progression of MST (Multisystemic Therapy) within the Cambridgeshire and Northampton County Councils. She has lead on 4 MST Adaptations for specialist client groups: serious adolescent substance abuse, child abuse and neglect, family integrated transitions and adolescent sexual problem behaviour. She was a Sector Advisor for the Department of Health for 4 years to assist in setting up new similar teams in the UK.

 

Originally qualified in Belgium in 1981, she advanced her career in England since 1990 working for the NHS and obtained an MA in Systemic Therapy at the City of London University in collaboration with the Tavistock Clinic in 1994. She received a honorary MBE in 2010 in recognition for her contribution in the field of youth justice.
