CASE STUDY: FRANK'S STORY
Frank was referred to the MTFC programme because he was placed in a residential care home by Manchester City Council. He responded well to the Treatment Foster Care therapy, and his carers formed a strong attachment.
After Frank graduated from 12 months of the TFC therapy programme, Action for Children arranged for him to stay with the same carers, as a permanent placement. He has also successfully transitioned into a mainstream school placement in Manchester, and enjoys going fishing with one of his foster carers.
